Welcome to Golden Standard Athletics

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and your participation (or your child’s participation) in any programs, camps, clinics, training sessions, or events hosted by Golden Standard Athletics. By registering your child or accessing our services, you agree to the following:

1. About Us

Golden Standard Athletics ("GSA", "we", "our", "us") is a youth basketball organization dedicated to developing players through competitive training, mentorship, and skill-building. We offer training sessions, teams, clinics, and events designed to elevate athletes both on and off the court.

2. Eligibility

• GSA programs are open to youth athletes between the ages of 5 and 15.

• A parent or legal guardian must complete registration and agree to these Terms on behalf of the participant.

• GSA reserves the right to deny or revoke participation for any reason, including behavioral or safety concerns.

3. Assumption of Risk & Waiver of Liability

Participation in physical activity, including basketball, carries inherent risks of injury.
By registering your child, you acknowledge and accept that:

• Injuries can and may occur during drills, games, travel, or physical training.

• You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, and release Golden Standard Athletics, its coaches, staff, volunteers, and affiliates from all liability for injury, loss, or damages.

• You agree not to hold GSA responsible for medical expenses, lost property, or other incidents during training or events.

Medical Emergency Policy:
If a medical emergency occurs and we cannot reach you, GSA staff may seek emergency medical treatment at your expense.

4. Code of Conduct

We believe in character, discipline, and respect. All players, parents, and coaches are expected to:

• Treat teammates, coaches, referees, and opponents with respect

• Arrive on time and ready to participate

• Avoid the use of profanity, aggression, or negative behavior

• Refrain from drug, tobacco, or alcohol use during GSA events

GSA reserves the right to suspend or remove a participant for repeated or serious violations.

5. Registration, Fees & Refunds

• Program fees must be paid in full before participation.

• Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated, or unless the program is canceled by GSA.

• If your child cannot attend due to injury or illness, credit toward future programs may be offered at our discretion.

6. Media Release

By participating in GSA programs, you grant Golden Standard Athletics permission to use photos or videos of your child for promotional, marketing, or training purposes, including on social media, the website, and print materials.

If you wish to opt out of this release, you must contact us in writing prior to your child’s participation.

7. Website Use & Communication

• The GSA website and social media pages are used to share schedules, announcements, and updates.

• You agree not to misuse our website, share false information, or post inappropriate content.

• Communications may be sent via email, text, or social media to keep parents informed.

8. Cancellations & Weather Policy

• GSA will notify families via email or SMS in the event of schedule changes.

• Make-up sessions are not guaranteed but will be offered when possible.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from participation in GSA programs shall be resolved in the courts of Maricopa, Arizona.
